Building Character

We saw some elk about 45 miles from Ereka. At this point we knew we
would be comming in late.

The last of our light faded away about 20 miles out of Eureka. Kevin
got a flat on a lonely country road. Some cows kept us company under
an almost full moon. Yesterday is what I think they call character
building.

The night got cold and we finished the last 7 miles to Eurika on 101
and landed around 9:30 with our hosts who had pizza waiting which
never looked so good; It was delicious. Thank you Rick and Hazel!
